A customer might include special instructions or requests with an order. You can respond with a message immediately using the "Messages" tab.
If the order you want to work with is not currently open, click the Orders tab and use the "Order#" field to find the one you want quickly. You can also select the order from the list, then click View Order Details, or double-click the order. In any case, you will end up on the "Order Details" page.
In the example below, the customer has requested move-in/move-out fee details, and you may want to send a response right away.
- On the "Order Details" page, open the Messages tab
- Click Send a Message.
In the "Message" pop up, enter the text that you want to send to the customer.
If you want to attach a file, click the Browse button and navigate to the file on your network that you want to send the customer, then click Open. Any type of file can be attached (e.g., Word, Excel, PDFs, etc).
Click Send, and the eStrataHub system instantly sends an email Notification to the customer letting them know a message is waiting for them and they must log in to view it. (Click Cancel if you want to close the box without sending.)
Each "Message" that you send or receive from the "Messages" tab will appear on the "Messages" page.
