How to Add Resign or Modify a Director or Officer
Resign Director or Officer
- Go to the File Summary Page
- Scroll Down and Click on Director or Officers’s Name under the Directors Table
- Select Edit this Director, under Things to Do
- Enter in effective date
- Enter in resignation date
- Save the Information
- Addition of Director/Officer will become a pending matter
Add a Director or Officer
- Go to Modifications
- Select Contacts
- Select Director or Officer
- Select Add a New Director or Officer
- Enter in required information A) Under Things to Do you can choose to Find/Load contact details to search your database for an existing contact record. I) Choose Link if it is the same contact (links the records together) II) Choose Copy to just copy the address of an existing contact
- Save information
- Addition of Director or Officer will become a pending matter
Edit Address/Name of Director or Officer
- Go to the File Summary Page
- Scroll Down and Click on Director or Officer’s Name under the Directors or Officers Table
- Select Edit this Director or Officer, under Things to Do A) Click on Calendar Icon to input Effective Date. B) Make changes in each field as required.
- Modification of Director or Officer will become a pending matter
Generate Documents
- Once all director and officer changes are made,
- Go to Pending Matters
- select one of the pending matters for change of director or officer
- choose to edit pending matter
- Under In-line Document Generation select the documents you require A) The documents will support all pending director and officers changes that happened on the same effective date
- Select submit
- Download and save the documents you need
- Get documents signed and approved
E-file
- Once documents are signed and approved
- Go to Pending Matters
- Select one of the pending change of directors' matters
- Select E-file Change of Directors
- Enter in required information
- Select Submit
- Review the draft information
A) Select Cancel to make corrections
B) Select File Now if everything looks okay
Mark Changes Complete
- Once all documents are downloaded, saved, signed and approved
- Once the e-filing is complete
- Mark the changes complete by selecting the pending matter and selecting Mark Change Complete
