How to install MCR Fonts (ProTrust Cheques)

MCR Fonts are required for the bank account information to properly generate and print on the bottom of your Trust Cheques. There are two main steps to installing MCR Fonts on a computer. 

First step in Prosuite to make the fonts available:

1. Click on the User icon.
2. In the Settings Tab, click on Install MCR Fonts
   
   
   
   
3. You will receive a prompt asking to Continue with Temporary Install, click Yes
   
   

Second step in Windows to permanently install the fonts:

1. Go to the following folder C:\Users\(your username here)\Documents\ProSuite\Fonts
   
   ​

5. Copy all of the files within that Fonts folder (ctrl+a will select all, then you can right click and select Copy)
6. In your Windows Start Menu, search for Control Panel.
7. In the Control Panel, ensure that your View By is set to Icons (Small or Large, doesn't matter), and then select Fonts.

8. Right click in an empty spot and select Paste.  You may be prompted to overwrite existing files, select Yes. (Please note: The option to Paste is only available when you right click on an empty space and not on one of the icons for the existing fonts. )
   
   Additional Note: This step may prompt for Administrator credentials depending on your environment security settings.  If you are prompted to login and do not have the login information for the Administrator account, please contact your IT/Network Administrator.
