ADVANCE UPGRADE NOTICE
Please be advised that Brief Convey™ Version 9.8 will become available on Sunday November 26th, 2017. During the upgrade Brief Convey will be unavailable to customers between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on November 26th.
This release includes the following updates:
PROPERTY TRANSFER TAX RETURN V29
The Property Transfer Tax Department has announced that V29 of the Property Transfer Tax form will be released and is the only version that will be acceptable for registration as of Monday, November 27th, 2017.
They have also advised that Adobe Acrobat DC is required in order to use this new version of the form. If you have an older version of Adobe Acrobat you MUST UPGRADE prior to November 27th, 2017.

Statutory Declarations will not be revised unless the Law Society and/or Notary Society indicate it is required.
NEW VERSIONS OF LAND TITLE FORMS
The LTSA released new versions of the following forms on November 6th, 2017:
- Form C Charge V23
- Form C Release V23
- Form 17 Charge V14
- Form 17 Cancellation V15
On November 14th, the LTSA announced that a bug was found in the Form C Charge V23 and this version of the form is no longer available.
The balance of the new forms will be available in Brief Convey V9.8.
The LTSA has indicated that previous versions of these forms will still be accepted but will be phased out in the spring of 2018.

COMPLETION CALENDAR IMPROVEMENTS
Based on customer feedback, we have made the following improvements to the Completion Calendar:
- Loading has been optimized to increase performance
- An additional automatic save point has been added when a completion date is changed
- A confirmation will be displayed when the calendar has been refreshed using the Refresh button
NEW BUTTON ADDED
In sale and mortgage files, an All Vendors/All Borrowers button has been added to the Balance of Proceeds Payable to field on the Property screen. When clicked, this button will populate the Balance of Proceeds Payable to field with the names of all Vendors or Borrowers, saving you time.
